My Artiste of the Year award will push me to go harder - King Promise

King Promise won the 2025 Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMAs) Artiste of the Year. He has dismissed the idea that artists fade after winning major awards.

In an interview with DJ Slim and Doreen Avio on Daybreak Hitz, he shared his thoughts. He believes music is his calling. The award motivates him to work even harder.

He said, "Even when I didn’t get one, I kept coming back." Now that he has the main award, he plans to keep working.

"I love making music," he added. "It’s not just a passion; it’s my calling." For him, this award pushes him to strive for more.
