Renowned Ghanaian rapper M.anifest clarified that his feud with Sarkodie wasn’t premeditated but fueled by competition, creativity, and ideological differences.

The beef, which began in 2012 and escalated in 2016 through diss tracks like M.anifest's “god MC” and Sarkodie’s “Kanta,” sparked public debate.

In an interview on Starr Chat, M.anifest emphasized that their rivalry was never personal but rather a natural part of artistic competition.

He highlighted that both artists benefitted from showcasing their talent and affirmed that they have maintained a cordial relationship since.

M.anifest also mentioned collaborating with Sarkodie post-beef, including a song during the COVID-19 period.
