King Promise Wins Artiste of the Year

King Promise won the Artiste of the Year award at the 26th Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA). He credits his win to hard work and dedication over the past year.

In an interview on TV3’s New Day, he expressed his joy. He believes his perseverance and commitment to quality music earned him this honor.

“I believe my work spoke for itself,” he said. “I always put music first. Other distractions are secondary for me.” He noted that his recent album performed exceptionally well.

King Promise stayed positive during the awards season. He refused to entertain negative thoughts about not winning.

“I don’t put that kind of energy in the air,” he explained. “I try to stay positive and focus on my feelings about winning.”

When discussing competition, King Promise praised his fellow nominees. He described their rivalry as healthy rather than hostile.
