Ghanaian rapper Medikal reflected on his 2021 jail experience, linking it to the ruling NPP after their December 7 election loss.
Arrested for brandishing a gun on social media, Medikal was denied bail initially and spent five days in custody before receiving a ¢100,000 bail.
He accused the NPP of jailing him unjustly under orders “from above.”
In a recent post on X, he urged incoming President John Mahama of the NDC to prioritize youth welfare.
While Dr. Bawumia conceded defeat to Mahama, thanking Ghanaians for his time in office, Medikal expressed hope for significant change under Mahama’s leadership, advocating for the younger generation’s well-being.
