Ghanaian actor Nana Yeboah has shared a shocking account of betrayal, revealing how a trusted friend attempted to poison him during a visit to his home.
Speaking to Emelia Brobbey, the Kumawood star recounted how the friend tampered with a box of juice stored in his house. Nana Yeboah narrowly avoided consuming the tainted drink, attributing his survival to divine intervention.
“There was a time my friend came over, and I offered him drinks. He went into my storage area, took a drink, and added something to it. I didn’t notice anything unusual initially,” Yeboah said. Later, upon inspecting the drink, he noticed it was unusually foamy and swelling, prompting him to dispose of it.
Suspicious, Nana Yeboah confronted his friend, who denied any wrongdoing at the time. However, a week later, the friend called to beg for forgiveness. “I told him there was nothing to forgive because he didn’t admit it when I confronted him. Since then, he hasn’t contacted me,” Yeboah revealed.
The actor, whose family lives in Obuasi, admitted the incident has left him deeply shaken and wary of others. “This whole thing has really frightened me. I’m now extremely scared of people,” he concluded.
Nana Yeboah remains grateful for escaping the ordeal and continues to reflect on the betrayal from someone he once trusted.
