Sesame Street and Netflix have made a new deal. The popular US show will stream on Netflix. It will still be available on PBS, the free-to-air channel.
Netflix called Sesame Street a "beloved cornerstone of children's media." The show inspires young minds and fosters a love for learning.
Later this year, Netflix will offer its 300 million subscribers a new season. This 56th season includes 90 hours of previous episodes.
Sesame Street faced uncertainty after Warner Bros Discovery did not renew its deal. This entertainment giant owns the HBO platform.
Under the new agreement, PBS will access episodes on the same day as Netflix.

Netflix is focusing more on children's content lately. Children's programming accounts for 15% of viewing on their service.
On Tuesday, Netflix announced new episodes of Peppa Pig would also come to the platform. A mobile game with puzzles and coloring activities is also planned.
