During his appearance on *Honest Brunch with Nedu Wazobia*, Nigerian comedian Ghe Ghe sparked controversy with his bold views on dating in Nigeria.
He described Nigerian women as "the worst to date," accusing many of treating relationships as transactions.
According to Ghe Ghe, modern relationships have shifted from genuine connection to financial gain, with women seeking financial stability rather than emotional intimacy.
He lamented that dating has become a means for women to escape poverty. Comparing today’s dynamics with past generations, he noted that women once played crucial roles in household management and farming, fostering equal partnerships with their husbands.
Ghe Ghe believes today's relationships have lost these traditional values, with many women focusing on entitlement and material demands.
