‘Notsamo’ album launch to tour Australia

Australia will host a dynamic tour blending traditional and contemporary Ghanaian dance and music in early 2025.

The tour, led by Frederick Nii Kpakpo Addo's One Spirit Africa and Mala Majo Entertainment, will launch the Notsamo album, meaning “continuation” in Ga.

Produced partly in Accra, the album features Mala Majo performers like Joyce Agyei, Benjamin Tawiah, and others.

Scheduled from January to March, the tour will visit Adelaide, Melbourne, Canberra, Sydney, Perth, and Brisbane, with a key stop at the 2025 Adelaide Fringe Festival.

Addo aims to share African culture through performances, workshops, and community events, emphasizing the stories behind each song.
