Gospel artist Obaa Yaa Grace Ashly, also known as Grace Ashly, expressed her frustration with the Ghana Music Rights Organisation (GHAMRO) after receiving only GHS100 in royalties.
She revealed that she hasn’t received any payments for over 10 years, despite GHAMRO claiming they would send royalties directly to artists’ phones.
Ashly criticized the organization for what she called "greed" and expressed disappointment at the small amount received, stating she would rather leave the money with GHAMRO.
She praised fellow artist Akosua Agyapong for her efforts in fighting corruption within GHAMRO.
