Okatakyie Afrifa Mensah has spoken about his recent arrest. He claims his ex-girlfriend, Anne Sansa Daly, is behind it. She allegedly made false claims of blackmail against him. Okatakyie believes these accusations are politically motivated.

In a video on his show, he shared details about the situation. On March 25, 2025, police arrested him in the afternoon. He was released a few hours later, but they seized his phones.

This arrest followed another incident on March 19, 2025. He was detained near Kingsby Hotel after an exam at GIMPA. NPP officials intervened to secure his release that day.

Many people reacted to the arrests by blaming the government. They accused it of targeting Okatakyie for his criticisms of President John Mahama and others. Recently, he has had public disagreements with Kevin Taylor over these issues.

Okatakyie alleges that Anne Sansa Daly manipulated their past conversations. He claims she reported him for possessing and blackmailing her with private photos. He challenged her accusations and demanded evidence.

He stated, “I was told that Anne reported me for blackmail.” He also mentioned that security operatives took him home to search for evidence. Okatakyie believes this case was fabricated to justify searching his phone.

He described Anne as an NDC supporter close to Sammy Gyamfi and Kevin Taylor. This connection did not surprise him regarding her actions.
