Sound engineer De Thompson DDT criticized Deputy Minister of Tourism and Creative Arts, Mark Okraku Mantey, for failing to deliver on promises to improve the creative arts industry.
Despite high expectations, DDT noted that Okraku Mantey did little for the sector after his appointment.
He warned the creative arts community against relying on industry players who enter parliament, saying they prioritize their constituencies over industry interests.
DDT argued that Okraku Mantey’s tenure proved that promises made by such officials often go unfulfilled, cautioning against misplaced hopes in future elected representatives.
