One artiste can’t take Ghana to the top, we must collaborate - Edem

Ghanaian musician Edem recently spoke about unity among Ghanaian artists. He shared his thoughts in an interview with Doreen Avio on Daybreak Hitz.

Edem believes artists should support and encourage each other. He stated, "I don't think one artiste can blow the name of Ghana."

He compared this to Nigerian musicians who help each other succeed. Artists like Burna Boy, Wizkid, Davido, Rema, and Ayra Starr have boosted Nigeria's music industry. Edem emphasized that collaboration is key for Ghanaian artists as well.

He also explained why he surprised fans at Stonebwoy's concert in Boston. It was only a four-hour drive from where he was.

"I was in the US for Grammy weekend," Edem said. "Gambo and I performed at the Grammy pre-party." After returning to Ghana in January, he planned to go back to the US in February.

When he saw Stonebwoy's tour dates, he decided to attend a show. He informed his team and drove to the venue. Stonebwoy was excited to see him, and they talked at his hotel.
