One-week observance for late Highlife legend Dada KD set for June 21

A one-week observation for Ghanaian musician Nana Kwaku Duah, known as Dada KD, has been announced.

The ceremony will take place on Saturday, June 21, 2025. It will be held at the East Legon Executive Club House in Accra.

The event starts at 7:00 a.m. Friends, family, colleagues, and fans are invited to honor him.

Dada KD was born in 1971 and passed away on May 16, 2025. He was 54 years old at the time of his death.

Close sources say he felt unwell shortly before he died.
