One-week observation slated for Jan. 30 for Osibisa's Teddy Osei

A one-week observation for legendary musician Teddy Osei of Osibisa will take place on Thursday, January 30, 2025, at his family house in Chirapatre, Kumasi, Ashanti Region.

The ceremony, scheduled from 6 AM to 6 PM, will bring together family, friends, and fans, and will also include discussions for funeral arrangements and a date for the funeral.

Teddy Osei, a founding member of the iconic African band Osibisa, passed away in London on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at the age of 88.
