Only selfish and greedy Ghanaians are angry that the Dollar is depreciating – Tulenkey

Rapper and songwriter Tulenkey has shared his views on the Dollar's value. He believes only selfish Ghanaians are upset about its depreciation.

The 'Bad Feelings' hitmaker earns some money in Dollars. However, he is pleased that the Ghana Cedi is gaining value recently.

He explained that musicians receive payments in Dollars. This means his earnings drop when the Dollar depreciates.

Despite this, he finds that he can buy more at supermarkets with his remaining Dollars.

Tulenkey stated that if a musician or Ghanaian is angry about the Dollar's devaluation, they are being greedy. He emphasized that appreciating the Cedi benefits many Ghanaians.

"When the Dollar appreciates, it helps only a few people," he said. "But when the Cedi appreciates, it benefits a lot of Ghanaians."
