Prophesying about people's death doesn’t make you a powerful prophet- Sonnie Badu

Sonnie Badu Sonnie Badu

Gospel musician Sonnie Badu has called on prophets to refrain from making death prophecies, describing such predictions as doom-filled rather than divinely inspired.

In a Facebook post today, he stressed that prophecy should bring hope and life, not fear and despair. Badu emphasized that true prophetic messages should offer redemption and encouragement, not mere warnings of catastrophe.

His remarks follow recent predictions concerning the health of Vice President Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang, who was hospitalized and later flown abroad for further care.

He condemned the trend of publicizing such prophecies, urging prophets to consider the emotional toll on affected families.

Wishing Opoku Agyemang a speedy recovery, he acknowledged her dedication and advised her to take time to rest.
