Prophet Gideon Danso marries his fiancée with just GHC 600

Prophet Gideon Danso, Lead Pastor of Empowerment Worship Centre, is now married. His wedding story has touched many hearts.

Just days after introducing his fiancée to the congregation, he wed in a simple ceremony. There was no glam or fuss—only love and purpose.

Apostle Rev. Ben Doku announced the news during a service. He shared this with a cheering crowd: “I came here to announce that your lead pastor got married. God has given you a mother.”

The newlyweds smiled as they walked to the front. Members celebrated them with applause and cheers.

Prophet Danso revealed an unexpected detail: their wedding cost only GH¢600! He said, “Whether you believe it or not, it cost me GH¢600. There was no makeup, no suit, no veil.”

He explained how simple the ceremony was: “I called Reverend, we signed vows, he blessed us. We served Malt and Fanta—no food.” He laughed and added, “I don’t owe anybody.”

He expressed gratitude for his new wife, Gina: “This girl is special. She has saved my pocket to build a church and a house for us.”

Prophet Danso promised a proper celebration on "Stand in the Gap Sunday." He said there would be food and thanksgiving to God.

For now, he proudly stated, “I’m a married man with GH¢600. It wasn’t planned; it happened as God wanted it.” He concluded with joy: “The Lord has done it. It is finished.”
