Rapper Tory Lanez 'stabbed 14 times' serving sentence for shooting Megan Thee Stallion

Rapper Tory Lanez has reported being stabbed 14 times in prison. He is serving time for shooting Megan Thee Stallion in the foot.

Lanez, 32, shared details on his verified Instagram account. He suffered seven wounds to his back, four to his torso, two to the back of his head, and one to his face.

The attack occurred at the California Correctional Institution in Tehachapi. It happened at 7:20 AM local time on Monday. A spokesman for the Department of Corrections confirmed the incident.

Lanez was hospitalized after the stabbing, which is under investigation. His social media post stated that both of his lungs collapsed. However, he is now breathing on his own.

Despite being in pain, Lanez is talking normally and feels grateful. He thanked God for pulling through and appreciated everyone’s prayers and support.

Lanez is serving a 10-year sentence for shooting Megan Thee Stallion, 30. This incident took place after they left a party at Kylie Jenner's home in July 2020.

He was convicted of assault with a semiautomatic firearm and other charges in December 2022. In January, a judge granted Megan a protective order until early 2030 due to harassment claims against Lanez from prison.

Megan Thee Stallion, whose legal name is Megan Pete, was already gaining fame when she was shot. Her popularity has increased since then with hits like "Savage" and "WAP." She won a Grammy for Best New Artist in 2021.

Tory Lanez began releasing mixtapes in 2009 and gained popularity over time. His last two albums reached the top ten on Billboard charts.
