Renowned Ghanaian reggae and dancehall artist Samini, born Emmanuel Andrews Samini, has announced plans to release his next album before the second quarter of 2025.
Speaking to JoyNews' Becky, the award-winning musician revealed that he had a successful 2024 and has been working diligently on new material.
“I’ve been working on new songs, and the album is ready. Fans can expect it before the second quarter of 2025,” he assured, adding that a single will drop before February.
Samini, who began his music journey at age 14 in a church choir, gained fame with his 2004 debut album “Dankwasere” featuring the hit single “Linda”.
Over the years, he has earned international acclaim, sharing stages with global icons like Sean Paul and Jay-Z, and winning awards like the 2006 MOBO for Best African Act.
