Sean 'Diddy' Combs raped and attacked ex-assistant, she tells court

A former assistant of Sean "Diddy" Combs testified in a New York court. She claimed he repeatedly sexually assaulted her during her eight years of employment.

The witness, known as "Mia," spoke anonymously. She described living in fear of Mr. Combs' violent outbursts.

Mr. Combs, 55, sat with his arms folded during her testimony. He faces federal charges including racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking.

Mia said, "I couldn't tell him no about a sandwich." Her statement highlighted the control he had over her.

Mr. Combs' legal team has not yet questioned Mia or responded to her claims. She is the second witness to accuse him of sexual abuse, following his ex-girlfriend Casandra Ventura.

Mia began working for Mr. Combs in 2009 when she was in her mid-20s. She described the work environment as "chaotic" and "toxic."

She testified that she had to be "always within eyesight" of Mr. Combs. This included anticipating his needs and moods.

Mia often stayed at his homes where she could not lock doors or leave without permission. During her employment, she experienced frequent violence from Mr. Combs.

Once, he threw a spaghetti bowl at her head but missed. Another time, he hurled his computer at her when she mentioned wifi issues.

Mia also witnessed Mr. Combs being violent with Ms. Ventura, who became a close friend during her time there.

On one trip to Turks and Caicos, Ms. Ventura ran into Mia's room screaming for help. They hid on the beach after fearing for their lives.

During that holiday, they used a paddle board to escape Mr. Combs on the beach as a storm approached.

In 2013, Mia recalled an incident where Mr. Combs banged on Ms. Ventura's door in Los Angeles. He attacked Mia and cut open her eyebrow while throwing her onto a bed frame.

"I thought he's actually going to kill her," Mia remembered thinking at that moment.

Despite witnessing abuse towards Ms. Ventura, Mia did not report it due to fear of Mr. Combs' power over them both.

She recounted multiple instances of alleged sexual assault by him throughout their time together, including one night when he tried to rape her.

The assaults reportedly began early in Mia's career with Mr. Combs on his 40th birthday at the Plaza Hotel in New York City.

He gave her two vodka shots before kissing her and putting his hand up her dress.

Another incident occurred while she slept in a bunk bed at his Los Angeles home; she woke up with him on top of her and was raped by him then.

"I just froze," she said about that moment which felt like forever despite being quick.

Mia stated that these assaults happened sporadically throughout their time together but often left only dark feelings behind instead of clear memories.

When asked why she didn't say "no" or go to police during assaults, Mia expressed fear of what he might do next due to knowing his power over her life and career choices.

She mentioned another assistant who was fired for reporting violence against Ms.Ventura by Mr.Combs himself too.

Afterward, Mia tried hard to pretend those shameful experiences never happened in order to cope with them all internally.

When asked why she's sharing this story now in court today? She replied: “I had to tell the truth.”

Mia will continue testifying on Friday; Mr.Comb’s defense team will have their chance then too.
