Shatta Wale Apologizes to Bullgod

Ghanaian Dancehall artist Shatta Wale has apologized to his ex-manager, Bullgod.

His apology comes after he accused Bullgod of involvement in Fennec Okyere's death. Okyere was the late manager of Kwaw Kese.

In November 2022, Shatta Wale made these accusations publicly. This led Bullgod’s legal team to file a defamation lawsuit against him.

Bullgod argued that Shatta Wale's statements were damaging and inappropriate. The case was still under investigation at that time.

Bullgod sought a court declaration stating that Shatta Wale’s remarks were defamatory and malicious. He also requested financial compensation and a formal apology from Shatta Wale.

On April 30, 2025, Shatta Wale sent a letter to Bullgod. In it, he expressed regret for the pain caused by his November 2022 statements.

He stated, “I wish to apologize to Mr. Hanson (Bullgod) and others affected.”

Shatta Wale also retracted his previous allegations against Bullgod. He clarified that he did not mean to imply Bullgod had any role in Okyere's murder.

Wale noted that his earlier claims were based on misunderstandings of conversations with Bullgod.
