Shatta Wale dominates IRAWMA 2025 with three major wins

Ghanaian Dancehall sensation Shatta Wale triumphed at the 42nd International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRAWMA) held on March 30, 2025, in Coral Springs, Florida.

The artist won three prestigious awards: Best African Dancehall Entertainer, Best Music Video for "Killa Ji Mi," and Best Crossover Song for "Commando" featuring Bounty Killer.

Shatta Wale, a frequent winner at the IRAWMA, has previously claimed honors like Best New Entertainer (2014) and Best African Song/Entertainer (2016), among others.

In an Instagram post, he thanked the IRAWMA organizers, his fans, and Mr. Ephraim Martin for their continuous support and for creating a platform that celebrates African talent. "Africa to the world," he proudly declared.
