Some people are made for purpose, not fame – Ayisi speaks on his long-awaited rise

After more than a decade in Ghana’s music scene, Ayisi is gaining recognition. He was formerly known as A.I. Many believe he deserves this attention.

For Ayisi, fulfillment comes from living out his purpose, not fame.

In a recent interview with Roselyn Felli on Joy Prime, he discussed his career pause. Fans wondered about his absence during this time. He explained it wasn’t a full stop but a necessary break.

“I took a break because I wasn’t doing interviews,” he said. “I was also handling some personal matters.”

He continued, “But I always returned to the studio to record.” He prepared for the right moment when everything settled down.

“I’m not the type to wait for things to cool down,” he added. “I kept recording and doing what I should be doing.”

Ayisi believes in consistency and conviction. His name may not have been in headlines recently, but he never stopped creating.

During his silence, he honed his craft and waited for the right time to return. He aims to come back with purpose rather than noise.

“Now I’ve realized that some people are made for purpose,” he stated.
