Pastor, author, and singer Sonnie Badu has serious concerns about artificial intelligence (AI).
On his Facebook page, he stated that AI mainly benefits its creators. He believes it exploits users instead. “It’s always the creator and inventor that wins – not the people,” he said.
Badu reacted to news of China’s first AI-powered hospital. He questioned, “In this case, what will medical doctors do?”
The founder of Rock Hill Chapel in Atlanta warned that AI could challenge God. He predicted that soon people might say God is unnecessary.
To address this issue, Badu suggested that AI could threaten Christian worship. He urged the Christian community to act against AI urgently.
“There must be a balance,” he said. “The sons of God must rise and take spiritual positions.”
He warned that if they don’t act, even church temples may fall under AI's influence.
“This is just a son of Issachar telling you the time we are entering,” he added. “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit is saying.”
