Many notable personalities attended to celebrate Ghanaian music's excellence. This was the 26th edition of the awards, which has helped many artistes succeed. King Promise won the Artiste of the Year award, dethroning Stonebwoy.

The night featured both veteran and new school artistes entertaining audiences live and at home. Here are some highlights from the performances:

Stonebwoy did not win Artiste of the Year but delivered an impressive performance. He started with his song "Send Dem" and ended with "Jejereje." He also performed classics like "Sobolo," energizing the crowd. During his set, he celebrated hiplife icons by performing their classic hit "Yen Na Bra."

This veteran gospel group received praise for their electrifying performance. Members Cynthia Appiadu, Edna Sarpong, and Monica Owusu Ansah reminded everyone why they remain relevant in music today. They got attendees dancing to their classics, marking one of TGMA's greatest performances ever. A highlight was when Cynthia jumped behind a drum set to showcase her skills.

3. King Promise
King Promise redeemed himself this year with a strong stage presence. He began his set in a phone booth before moving to the main stage to perform hits like "Paris." He collaborated with Kwabena Kwabena on "Favourite Story." His finale featured dancers as he celebrated Ghana with his song "Continental."

4. The New Skul (Moliy, Kojo Blakk, OliveTheBoy)
Kojo Manuel and DJ Lord introduced these talented newcomers during TGMA's 26th edition. Moliy, Kojo Blakk, and OliveTheBoy showcased what the new generation offers.

5. Maame Tiwaa
Maame Tiwaa honored her friend Yaw Sarpong with a heartfelt solo performance while he recovers from health issues. She also received a Lifetime Achievement Award on his behalf for his contributions to gospel music.

Earlier in the event, Empress Gifty dedicated her Best Traditional Gospel Music award to her late mother, Evangelist Agnes Aba Afful (Agaga). Overwhelmed with emotion during her speech, she moved many audience members.
