Stonebwoy’s team denies stopping DJ Lord from playing Shatta Wale’s songs

The management of Stonebwoy has denied claims by DJ Lord that they forced him to stop playing Shatta Wale’s songs at the Guinness Accravaganza concert.

On April 1, 2025, DJ Lord tweeted that after playing back-to-back Shatta Wale tracks, an event official approached him. He alleged that Stonebwoy’s team was unhappy and requested he stop.

Calling it “disrespectful,” he defended his song choices, stating the crowd enjoyed them.

However, Stonebwoy’s manager, Chief Stylz, refuted the claim, questioning why DJ Lord assumed it came from their camp.

DJ Lord maintained his stance, insisting an organizer told him Stonebwoy’s team was uncomfortable with his playlist. The controversy has since sparked debate among fans.
