Suzzy Adwoa Pinamang Travels to Accra for Eye Surgery, Sponsored by Ibrahim Mahama

Suzzy Pinamang, a student from SDA Senior High, arrived in Accra on May 5, 2025. She is there for life-changing eye surgery. The treatment is sponsored by businessman Ibrahim Mahama. It will take place at Dr Agarwals Eye Hospital.

Videos of her arrival have gone viral on social media. Many users praised Mahama for his generosity. Suzzy was accidentally shot in the face by a classmate on April 4, 2025.

During a mathematics class, a male student brought a firearm to school. He showed it to others but the teacher did not notice. Later, during break time, he asked to use Suzzy's phone. After returning the phone, she rested her head on the table.

While she was resting, an argument broke out about the gun's authenticity. The boy pulled the trigger and shot Suzzy in the face. She experienced severe pain and risks permanent blindness.

The comments section of her arrival videos overflowed with support for Mahama. Some users also questioned what happened to the boy who fired the gun.

Suzzy’s mother has expressed deep concern over her daughter's condition. She warned against any attempts to cover up the incident involving her daughter’s shooting. Her emotional plea followed a recent court appearance regarding the case.

She condemned anyone trying to protect the shooter and urged justice for Suzzy.
