TGMA having a regional category will help recognize talents beyond Accra - Quame Gyedu

Gospel musician Quame Gyedu has voiced his strong support for the introduction of a Regional Category at the annual Ghana Tourism and Gospel Music Awards (TGMA).

Speaking on Daybreak Hitz, Gyedu emphasized that this new category would be instrumental in recognizing and celebrating talented gospel artists beyond Accra, where much of the spotlight tends to shine.

According to Gyedu, the Regional Category will allow musicians from different parts of Ghana to be appreciated for their contributions to gospel music, providing equal opportunities for emerging talents.

He believes that such recognition would motivate artists to work harder and reach broader audiences.

Gyedu’s statement has been met with widespread approval from fellow musicians and fans alike, who see this as a step toward a more inclusive industry.
