TGMA2025: Campaign for ‘Artiste of the Year’ has become so ugly and nasty – Article Wan

Musician Article Wan believes the campaign for Artiste of the Year at the Telecel Ghana Music Awards has become ugly and nasty.

He bases his opinion on some artists hiring public relations officers for their campaigns.

In an interview with Amansan Kwakye, he expressed shock at their efforts to win.

“Truth be told, this year’s TGMA Artiste of the Year campaign is very annoying,” he said.

He questioned, “What kind of nonsense are we doing to ourselves? We need breathing space.”

Wan noted that only one person will win the award. He added that online interactions can be frustrating due to this aggressive campaigning.
