TGMAs 2025: King Promise audits, praises, rewards Tilly’s PR work for AoTY victory

Tilly Akua Nipaa used "numbers and facts," according to singer King Promise (KP). He commented on her public relations (PR) campaign for the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMAs) 2025 Artiste of the Year.

KP spoke with Nana Romeo on Accra 100.5 FM’s Ayekoo Ayekoo. He appointed Tilly as his PR for the TGMAs on April 9, 2025. On May 10, KP was announced as the winner at the TGMAs.

“I like Tilly. I believe she’s worked well,” Promise said. He mentioned that his management discussed Tilly's plans for her master’s degree. “I want to pay for it because she’s done a great job,” he added.

Tilly contributed significantly to their success, according to KP. He praised her PR style during the campaign for votes.

“She presents the facts,” he noted. “She said something I respect: ‘If you’re working with an artiste, it’s not about make-believe.’ It’s real and true.”

He appreciated how she amplified these facts without stepping on toes. “She was respectful and professional, and I respect that,” he concluded.
