Tell me you’re in America without telling me – Seun Kuti survives stray bullet scare in US hotel room

Nigerian Afrobeat singer and activist Seun Kuti recently had a frightening experience in the United States. A stray bullet shattered the window of his hotel room.

Kuti shared a video on Instagram showing the damage. The bullet hole appeared to have narrowly missed him.

In the video, he expressed his shock, saying, “Tell me you’re in America without telling me you’re in America. I’m in my hotel room just chilling and boom.”

Kuti has often spoken out about global injustice and African dignity. He used this incident to question the Western view of law and order.

He wrote in his caption, “I read somewhere that these are the civilised people,” highlighting the irony of the situation.

Although shaken, Kuti assured his followers he was unharmed. He did not reveal which city this incident took place in.
