Ghanaian actor and comedian Oboy Salinko has expressed his disappointment in the progress of the creative arts industry, stating that there have been no significant achievements aside from endless conferences.
Speaking on Onua Showtime with Nana Ama McBrown, Salinko criticized stakeholders for organizing numerous discussions and summits without implementing real change.
He lamented the lack of opportunities for creatives, adding that many industry players struggle to make a sustainable living despite their talents.
According to him, the government and industry leaders must move beyond talk and take concrete actions to improve the sector.
His comments have sparked discussions among industry players, with many agreeing that more needs to be done to uplift the creative arts industry in Ghana.
