They didn’t care about us — Gisela Amponsah exposes Glitch Africa’s PR tactics

Social media influencer Gisela Amponsah has shared troubling experiences from her time on the Rants, Bants, and Confessions podcast. She accused the show's producers of paying bloggers to insult co-hosts.

Gisela spoke about this on The Creative Inc channel with her friend Ama Burland. She claimed that Glitch Africa, the podcast's platform, prioritized controversy over integrity for online attention.

"I understand promoting your show," Gisela said. "But paying bloggers to insult co-hosts is another matter."

Her concerns grew after she confronted producers about attacks on a specific co-host. They denied promoting negativity, but Gisela later found this claim untrue.

"After we learned the truth, I felt out of place," she explained. "It seemed they didn't care about us. They lied when I pointed out the attacks on our co-host."

The final straw came when a blogger leaked internal decisions and content from the podcast.

"We discovered this same person announced we were leaving the podcast," Gisela said. "It doesn’t make sense how they knew before us."
