Ghanaian musician Mzbel has explained her resignation from Wontumi Media, citing unresolved issues with working conditions despite raising complaints.

Although the management honored her contract and paid her well, the environment did not suit her.

Mzbel also addressed her decision to work for Wontumi Media, linked to the New Patriotic Party (NPP), despite being a National Democratic Congress (NDC) supporter.

She clarified that her choice was based on her friendship with Wontumi, who offered her the job.

Mzbel had joined the media outlet in 2023, with her contract signing becoming a viral event.
