Three charged in connection with Liam Payne's death

Three people face charges linked to the death of One Direction's Liam Payne, who fell from a third-floor balcony in Buenos Aires on October 16.

One suspect, who spent significant time with Payne, was charged with "abandonment of a person followed by death" and supplying drugs.

A hotel employee and a third person were also charged with drug supply.

Prosecutors ruled out self-harm, suggesting Payne fell while semi- or fully unconscious, with traces of alcohol, cocaine, and an antidepressant found in his system.
