TikToker collapses, dies during live broadcast in Lagos

A TikTok creator known as ‘Disturbing’ has died. He suffered a seizure during a live broadcast at home in Ikorodu, Lagos State, Nigeria.

The incident happened on Thursday and went viral. Footage showed him distressed before he collapsed. Disturbing was also a cobbler and musician. He gained fame through the ‘Justice for Mohbad’ movement.

His wife, Omowunmi, shared details on TikTok. She said he hit his head on a stone when he fell. At the time, she was in the kitchen cooking.

Neighbors alerted her to the emergency. “He had a seizure, fell, and hit his head,” she explained. Blood was coming from his head after the fall.

A young boy and neighbors thought he fainted and poured water on him. They called her from the kitchen for help. He was rushed to the hospital and placed on oxygen.

Sadly, he passed away on Friday morning. Omowunmi revealed that Disturbing had a history of seizures. He was undergoing treatment before his death.

She dismissed online rumors about a spiritual attack causing his death. “It is purely a medical issue,” she stated. The last seizure occurred in February.
