Eedris defended his right to speak out. He cited Nigerian and international laws. His criticisms focus on real issues like hunger, insecurity, and joblessness—not personal attacks.

He responded to Seyi Tinubu’s claim about his father being Nigeria’s “greatest president.” Eedris said, “He may be the best father to you, but he is the worst president ever in Nigeria.”

Despite the ban, "Tell Your Papa" is gaining popularity online. Many Nigerians support Eedris for voicing their concerns.
