**Vincent Agyei Antwi Celebrates Sunyani East MCE Nomination**

A video of Vincent Agyei Antwi celebrating has gone viral. He was nominated for the Sunyani East Municipal Assembly CEO role. The excitement was palpable as he celebrated with community members and NDC supporters.

Vincent is a member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC). His nomination came from President John Dramani Mahama. In the video, he jumped and screamed with joy at his residence.

He previously served as the NDC Sunyani East Youth Organiser. During his celebration, he rushed to embrace Seid Mubarak, the local MP. Their joyful interaction almost caused him to fall.

On March 26, 2025, President Mahama nominated Vincent among 71 others. This group includes District and Municipal Chief Executives from eight regions in Ghana. The nominations align with Article 243(1) of the 1992 Constitution.

The first batch included districts from various regions like Volta and Bono East. More nominees are expected before April 3. They will undergo vetting by their respective District Assemblies.

After taking office in January, President Mahama revoked previous appointments made by Akufo-Addo's administration.
