Stonebwoy’s publicist, Vida Adutwumwaa, has weighed in on the public response to Ja Rule’s school project in Ghana, acknowledging the goodwill but noting that expectations were understandably high.
Speaking in an interview, she said while Ghanaians are grateful, many had hoped for something more impressive considering Ja Rule’s global stature.
Her comments come amid social media debates over the simplicity of the school building. Vida clarified that the criticism is not rooted in ingratitude but in a mismatch between public expectations and the final result.
“It’s not as if we don’t appreciate it, but another contractor might have delivered a more modernized structure with the same budget,” she remarked.
She emphasized that Ghanaians value the effort but had envisioned a more substantial impact.
