We deserve better – Rapper Worlasi blasts Sammy Gyamfi over Agradaa dollar video

Ghanaian musician Worlasi has criticized Sammy Gyamfi, the Acting CEO of the Ghana Gold Board. This comes after a controversial video surfaced online.

The video shows Gyamfi giving cash to Patricia Oduro Koranteng, known as Nana Agradaa. This has sparked public outrage and heated discussions on social media.

Worlasi shared his disappointment on X (formerly Twitter). He expressed his concerns about the political class, especially the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

He wrote, “Charley I don’t know Sammy but he sure looked like he has potential. Edey pain oh… plenty talents dey!! NDC Charley, you guys for switch up… the power all dey your dey. Use am make we all GROW… make we stop this tins!!!”

In another post, Worlasi's frustration grew. He said, “Just when you start believing in someone, you get disappointed.”

He questioned whether politicians are driven by money or other motives.

Worlasi highlighted that many people work hard for Ghana’s reputation. He mentioned groups like the Buz Stop Boys who clean the country.

Yet, he lamented that Gyamfi chose to give money to Agradaa instead. He called it painful and emphasized there are many talented individuals in Ghana.

Worlasi urged the NDC to use their power wisely for growth and change. His comments reflect a broader disillusionment among Ghanaians with political leaders who associate with controversial figures like Agradaa, who has faced fraud allegations in the past.
