Where did the money come from? – Blakk Rasta questions Nii Armah Quaye’s wealth

Controversial media personality and reggae artist Blakk Rasta has raised concerns. He is questioning the extravagant birthday party of businessman Richard Nii Armah Quaye. Blakk Rasta wants authorities to investigate the source of Quaye's wealth.

On his Urban Blend show on 3FM, he expressed shock at the celebration's scale. He compared it to national events in Ghana.

“My brother, my sister, not even when Ghana gained independence in 1957 did we see such a reckless display of wealth! Money was falling like a rainstorm!” he exclaimed.

Blakk Rasta noted that past displays of wealth often led to legal troubles. He believes the Financial Intelligence Centre (FIC) should probe Quaye’s financial dealings.

“Should we not applaud the FIC for investigating? If you know your wealth is clean, then there’s nothing to hide,” he said. He also urged the GRA to ensure Quaye is paying his taxes correctly.
