UK-based Nigerian businessman and content creator Oyemykke has responded to critics. They criticized him for admitting he doesn’t change his boxers daily.

The influencer previously urged men to prioritize hygiene. Some women complained about men wearing the same boxers for days. This feedback seemed to upset him.

In a new video, Oyemykke discussed a conversation from an Eid event. He said, “I was at my guy’s Eid event yesterday.” They talked about changing boxers. He noted that everyone claimed they changed theirs daily.

He continued, “Nobody admitted to repeating their boxers.” He added, “They say I am the one that smells.”

What bothered him more was a comment from someone else. He said, “One photography, you! Are you as neat as myself?” He questioned their judgment on his hygiene.

Oyemykke challenged societal pressure regarding daily underwear changes. He scoffed at the idea that all men change their boxers every day.

“Do you go out every day?” he asked. “Do you take your bath every day? Because I don’t.”

He explained his routine: if he stays home all day, he doesn’t see the need to bathe or change underwear.

“Sometimes I play video games all day,” he said. “I forget to bathe until the next day.”

He concluded that it’s not true he must change his boxers daily. His comments have sparked debates online about hygiene versus real-life habits.
