Wizkid’s Influence : Bob Marley wins first Grammy with Afrobeats touch

Bob Marley won his first-ever Grammy at the 2025 Grammys, thanks to contributions from Wizkid, Bloody Civilian, and Shenseea.

The album Bob Marley: One Love Music Inspired by the Film (Deluxe), which featured these artists, won Best Reggae Album.

Bloody Civilian, a rising Nigerian producer and artist, played a major role in the album's success.

She previously produced "Addicted" on Rema’s Rave & Roses, the most streamed Afrobeats album of all time. She was also featured on the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack.

Wizkid’s collaboration with Bloody Civilian and Shenseea helped secure this historic Grammy win, marking a huge milestone for both Afrobeats and Reggae on the global stage.
