You don't respect your husband; that's why he dumped you - Christiana Awuni tells Charlotte Oduro

Veteran Kumawood actress Christiana Awuni has shared her thoughts on Rev. Charlotte Oduro’s recent divorce, questioning the preacher’s past advice to women.

Speaking in an interview on Max TV, Awuni criticized Rev. Oduro for always urging women to endure hardships in their marriages while her own has ended.

“So, while she was advising women to tolerate their husbands’ bad habits, she was facing issues in her own marriage?” Awuni questioned.

She further stated that respect in a marriage should be mutual, subtly suggesting that Rev. Oduro’s own teachings may have backfired.

"If you had truly respected your husband, would he have divorced you?" Awuni asked, challenging the preacher’s long-standing views on marriage and submission.
