Younger musicians hate me because I speak my mind – Kwaisey Pee

Highlife musician Kwaisey Pee claims younger musicians dislike him because he speaks hard truths in his advice.

In an interview with Joy Prime’s Roselyn Felli, he explained that his critiques are often misinterpreted as hate.

He acknowledged that some younger artists have rejected collaboration offers due to this perception.

Despite the backlash, Kwaisey Pee remains unbothered, suggesting that Ghanaians generally resist criticism.

He urged younger musicians to heed advice from experienced artists to advance their careers.

To avoid further negativity, he plans to refrain from commenting on other musicians in 2025.
