Wutah Kobby has resurfaced in the public eye. He shared a video showcasing his new look while living abroad. The musician left Ghana years ago and is enjoying life overseas.

Wutah Kobby's Musical Journey

Wutah Kobby, born Daniel Nyarko Morris, gained fame as part of Wutah. This duo formed in the 2000s with Frank Osei, known as Afriyie Wutah or Peevee. Their name means "Fire" in Hausa.

They competed in the Nescafe African Revelation music contest in 2005. They finished second behind Praye and later released their debut album, "Anamontuo." This album included hits like "Adonko" and "Big Dreams."

The duo received 11 nominations at the 2006 Ghana Music Awards. They won Reggae Song of the Year for "Big Dreams."

Career Highlights and Breakups

Wutah performed at major shows in Ghana, the UK, US, and Nigeria. In 2010, they split due to differences after five years together. Both pursued solo careers afterward.

They reunited in 2017 under Guru's NKZ Music label. Their single "Bronya" won Best Group of the Year at the 2018 Ghana Music Awards. However, they separated again in 2019 to focus on solo projects.

Since then, Wutah Kobby has relocated abroad and continues releasing music online. He is also vice president of the Ghana Association of Songwriters.
