Shatta Wale has introduced a new package on his ride-hailing service, Shaxi. This package is specifically for Ghanaian celebrities. It follows a partnership with the government. Celebrities will ride for free, and drivers will be compensated.

On June 5, Shatta Wale announced this special offer on social media. He stated that all known celebrities in Ghana can use Shaxi without payment. The platform will cover their costs and pay the drivers.

Shatta Wale's influence has attracted endorsements from many celebrities. Notable supporters include Sarkodie, Medikal, Criss Waddle, and Smallgod.

Shatta Wale founded Shaxi in 2021. The service offers affordable transportation through an app with branded taxis. It also creates job opportunities for young people in Ghana. So far, dozens of drivers have been employed to transport passengers.

This year, Shaxi plans to add over 150 electric vehicles to its fleet due to the government partnership. Malik Basintale, CEO of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA), assured that new vehicles would register with Shaxi before operating.

With increased activity on the platform, Shatta Wale is looking to expand operations. He recently appealed to potential investors for support.
