A Plus and Wife, Akosua Vee, Spotted in London After Nigeria Beat Ghana
Gomoa Central MP Kwame Asare Obeng, known as A Plus, is in London. He is on a short vacation from his busy schedule. A Plus and his wife, Akosua Vee, were seen leaving the G-Tech Stadium. They had just watched the Jollof derby between Ghana and Nigeria.
Fans praised the couple's chemistry. Many admired Akosua Vee's beauty and calm demeanor. The couple sparked excitement online after their appearance together.
They attended the Unity Cup semi-final on May 28, 2025. The match was between Ghana's Black Stars and Nigeria's Super Eagles at Gtech Community Stadium in Brentford. Unfortunately, Ghana lost to Nigeria with a score of 2-1.
A Plus’s trip comes shortly after Parliament resumed sitting. He wore a heavy jacket and trousers with glasses under a cap. Akosua Vee looked stylish in a simple outfit—a jacket over a Black Stars jersey.
Despite the loss, A Plus remained upbeat about the game. He called it a victory for Ghana regardless of the scoreline. The couple was accompanied by Abeiku Aggrey, Deputy CEO of the Ghana Tourism Authority.
Akosua shared videos from their trip on Instagram stories. They enjoyed their time at the stadium despite the disappointing result. One post showed them meeting popular musician KiDi at the game.
On the pitch, Cyril Dessers scored first for Nigeria. An own goal by Razak Simpson increased Nigeria's lead to 2-0. Brandon Thomas-Asante scored late for Ghana but it wasn't enough to equalize.
Ghanaians reacted to A Plus and Akosua’s trip online. Comments included playful remarks about their experience watching the game.
In related news, A Plus previously promised to shut down Wontumi TV if elected President. He criticized its misinformation that harms public discourse and urged action against it from President John Dramani Mahama.
