"Fuel nkoaa $1m?" Video of Dada Joe bragging about buying filling station trends

Dada Joe Remix Arrested Amid Controversy Over $1.2 Million Filling Station

Wealthy Ghanaian socialite Dada Joe Remix has reportedly been arrested. The Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) made the arrest in collaboration with American federal authorities. A video of him discussing a $1.2 million filling station has resurfaced online.

Ghanaians are reacting to the video with skepticism. Many doubt the filling station's valuation and question his source of wealth. Dada Joe Remix, whose real name is Nana Kojo Boateng, is facing extradition to the United States for alleged romance fraud.

He was arrested on May 27, 2025, after visiting EOCO offices following an invitation. Reports indicate he was taken into custody early on May 28. He appeared in court in Accra and will soon be transferred to Nsawam Maximum Security Prison.

His arrest comes shortly after socialite Hajia 4 Reall completed a one-year jail term for similar charges in the U.S. This coincidence has sparked speculation about connections between their cases.

The video of Dada Joe Remix bragging about his filling station led to lively discussions online. Some users questioned how he could afford such an expensive property. Comments included skepticism about money laundering schemes and calls for seriousness regarding his claims.

Musician Showboy also reacted to Dada Joe's arrest, distancing himself from his cousin. He warned that things would only get worse for Dada Joe Remix and other individuals involved in romance fraud in Ghana.
