"Future Prez": A Plus Idolises Prez Mahama as he recreates his inaugural outfit

Kwame A Plus Imitates John Mahama's Inaugural Outfit

Ghanaian musician and politician Kwame A Plus has shown admiration for President John Mahama. He wore an outfit similar to Mahama’s iconic inaugural ensemble. This outfit paid homage to Mahama's historic swearing-in ceremony.

On April 12, 2025, Kwame A Plus showcased a stylish white agbada. The agbada featured vibrant kente fabric, reflecting Ghanaian cultural heritage. It also included prominent Adinkra symbols like Gye Nyame and Sika Dwa.

The Gye Nyame symbol represents God's supremacy. Meanwhile, the Sika Dwa symbolizes the royal throne of the Ashanti people. Historically, it represents ultimate power within the Asante kingdom.

In addition to his outfit, Kwame A Plus wore stylish sunglasses. He discussed important issues, including recognizing hardworking musicians for awards. His ensemble was completed with elegantly designed shoes.

Earlier, he attended his first budget reading in a custom-made agbada. This outfit featured exquisite embroidery by Ghanaian stylist Smully Wear. It gained attention during Heritage Month in March.

Social media users reacted positively to his fashion choices. Comments praised his boldness and support for local talent. Many expressed their hopes for his future success in politics.

Matthew Agambire is known as President Mahama's designer for regal outfits. His work gained global recognition after a viral video on Instagram. Some consider him one of the best male fashion designers in Ghana.
